I wanted to get a gastric bypass operation as I’ve attempted everything else, I’ve done everything, they’ve succeeded and then I’ve lost it again and again 
I ‘d find anything new that would succeed and I’d take it back again. 


I figured I wanted something that didn’t only simply go to work, and that’s why I selected Mass General. On the day I went into surgery, weighing 310 pounds.

About 7 months later I leveled out and I maintained at 135 pounds.
Thirteen years later, today, I am at that same weight of 135 pounds.

So Kim came to the Mass. General Weight Center having multiple attempts at trying to lose weight previously, so she was looking to live a longer, healthier life, to get the weight off and to keep it off for good.
