No. XERF is a Never-Numb™ treatment — its Advanced Integrated Cryogen Delivery cools the skin surface while radiofrequency energy heats the tissue beneath, so no topical numbing is required. Most people describe a warm, deep-heating sensation that is comfortable throughout.
XERF is delivered as a short series. Some tightening is visible after a single session, and results continue to build with each treatment as new collagen forms. Dr. Bazzi will recommend a plan tailored to your skin and goals at your consultation.
You may notice immediate tightening from the initial collagen contraction, followed by continued firming and lifting over the following weeks to months as your skin rebuilds and remodels collagen.
